During a period between 1986 and 2001 I worked on a series of pieces fabricated of cut, hammered and painted copper, of which these are a few examples. Floated off the wall, they have a dimensional presence, visual complexity.
A hybrid of drawing, textile design and sculpture. In 1989 Tale of the South Seas was commissioned for the 14th Biennale Internationale de la Tapisserie, Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Lausanne, Switzerland.
